First Steps with the New OpenCast Video Solution of SWITCH for Automated Lecture Recording
For almost 10 years SWITCHcast has been the well-known video solution of SWITCH for lecture recording and for individual video trainings. This proprietary system was recently replaced by a new system called OpenCast, an open source video solution created by a community of users from many different organizations, like ETHZ, Harvard, Berkeley, Manchester, SWITCH and others.
In this webinar we are going to give you a short overview of the OpenCast video system and how to use it as a producer of lecture recordings. We will also highlight the main workflow steps, such as capturing, editing and publishing a lecture recording with this new system, and point out the differences compared to the previous SWITCHcast system.
The target audience of this webinar are SWITCHcast users, and all those who are interested in automated lecture recording.
This webinar was organised by SWITCH.
